Cantorum is an auditioned chamber choir based in Ponsonby, Auckland. The ensemble of 20-30 experienced voices sing a range of music under the guidance of Anita Banbury. We strive to improve the understanding and appreciation of Renaissance and Baroque styles of music for both singers and audience.
Upcoming Events
We perform a number of times during the year, including concerts, Evensong, and Christmas Carols at MOTAT.
Our next concert will be on Friday 27th March at 7.30pm This will be The Conductor’s Choice – a very special concert put together by Anita Banbury reflecting her choral music career over the last 60 years!
Musical Director
Since February 2018 Cantorum has been working under the leadership of Anita Banbury. Under her professional direction the choir has flourished and has continued to improve and learn.
